I spend hours each week hunting for new ​talent online and crafting playlists to ​showcase their work. It’s my favorite way to ​share fresh sounds and discover exciting ​new artists.

So, instead of spamming my friends every ​other day.. I decided to make a series called ​“Love Notes Weekly”.

The series gathers a selection of songs I ​discovered and thought I absolutely couldn’t ​keep to myself.

In addition to that, I also launched a reel ​series under the same name to share my ​latest music finds with my Instagram ​followers.

Every week, I choose 5 songs/albums on ​this playlist and share my picks with my ​followers under a reel format.

Pilot Episode

"Sound Stories" came to life from a mix of my ​passion for writing and my obsession with ​music. As a songwriter, words have always ​been my thing, and I’ve spent years sharing ​music reviews with friends just for fun. (Can ​you imagine how excited I get on Fridays with ​all the releases?)

One day, a friend who loved my random ​pieces asked if I’d write some articles for his ​new platform.

That’s when "Sound Stories" was born. It’s my ​way of diving into music, not just listening to it ​but really feeling the stories behind the ​sound. I get to blend my love for writing with ​my passion for music, sharing my thoughts, ​reviews, and quirky insights with anyone ​who’s up for it. "Sound Stories" isn’t just about ​music, it’s about the vibe, the feels, and the ​journey that comes with every work of art.

Ep.001 “Elmiene”

When I grow up, I want to be just like Elmiene. ​This London-based singer songwriter is so ​talented that it’s basically illegal. His voice is ​like a magic trick.. one minute you’re fine and ​the next you’re HOOKED.

I discovered Elmiene a few months ago, and ​what surprised me even more than his talent ​is his amazing marketing strategy.

Forget influencers and repetitive TikToks, his ​team worked on a messaging system that’s ​more responsive than my last date.

As a fan, I constantly feel like I’m being ​treated to something special.

It’s nearly impossible to forget about his music ​as he’s very active and in constant interaction ​with his listeners.

Ep. 002 “Gabriel”

Ever had a Summer Love ? Watched "Before ​Sunrise" and felt a weirdly intense connection to ​the story? Well, I’m living that reality right now ​(TMI, I know…).

Today, like every Friday, I hit play on Spotify's ​release playlist and stumbled upon Gabriel’s new ​track "Feeling Her Absence," and oh boy, did it ​hit me right in the feels.

The song kicks off with "It probably sounds like ​I'm bitter, cause I didn't get much time with her," ​and I immediately knew I'd go through an ​emotional rollercoaster (I was right, tears were ​shed).

"Feeling her absence" perfectly captures the ​feeling of missing someone while wanting to give ​them space to find their own happiness. I have ​no clue what Gabriel’s story is.. long-term ​romance or a brief fling? But every word ​resonated with me. "Enjoyed every moment but I ​wish I could live them once more" is exactly how ​I feel right now.

The harmonies and backing vocals on the ​track add such a lush layer, making it even ​harder for my heart not to drop. It feels ​nostalgic but hopeful at the same time.

Gabriel’s musical magic adds a depth that ​hits you right in the gut, just where it hurts so ​good.

You know that urge to rewind and relive ​those perfect moments? Gabriel totally gets ​it. He’s written the anthem for anyone ​longing to hit replay on their favorite ​memories. It’s like he peeked into my life ​and thought, "Hold up, girl, I got this. Let's ​put your feels into a song." And voilà, ​"Feeling Her Absence" was born.

I recently started a reel series named ​“Rebuilding Dreams: A Creative Quest”

as a personal outlet and to offer a behind-​the-scenes look at what it’s like to risk it all ​for your dreams.

Join me on this journey as I navigate the ​ups and downs of life.

From moving to South-Korea and then ​flying back to Belgium, to facing job ​rejections and other challenges. This series ​is all about sharing the real, raw moments ​of chasing creativity and rebuilding dreams.

Amalyah is my creative alter ego, a persona born from ​a decade of diving deep into the world of music.

My journey began ten years ago, driven by a passion ​for making music and a relentless curiosity about every ​facet of the industry.

As Amalyah, I’ve had the thrill of opening shows for ​artists like Jvck James, PJ Morton, and Camelia ​Jordana, and releasing an EP in 2019 that captured my ​sound and emotions.

My travels have taken me to South Korea, where I ​immersed myself in its rich music scene, and across ​Taiwan, the Philippines, and Vietnam, exploring ​diverse sounds and artistic expressions.

Beyond the studio, I absolutely love going to concerts, ​discovering new artists, and getting inspired by live ​performances. All these experiences fuel my creativity ​and drive.

Amalyah is more than a stage name… it’s a reflection ​of my passion for music, my adventurous spirit, and my ​dedication to sharing my musical journey with the ​world.

My vision for the future is all about being deeply involved in the ​growth and success of other artists while leaving a mark on the ​music industry. Although I don’t yet have the degrees and ​awards, my passion and drive are my strongest assets.

I believe these qualities will be a great addition to any team I ​join.

Music and creativity are at the core of everything I do. To ​enhance my skills, I’ve taken courses and earned certificates in ​Music Business from Berklee Online and Brand Management ​from Coursera. These experiences have given me practical ​knowledge that complements my hands-on work in the ​industry.

I’m determined to make my future as bright as possible.

My background spans administrative tasks, content creation, ​and communication, and I’m eager to blend these skills into a ​role where I can truly shine. I’m excited to tackle challenges, ​support artists, and bring a fresh perspective wherever I go.

Ultimately, my goal is to make a meaningful impact in the music ​world. I’m ready to work hard, learn continuously, and bring my ​passion into every opportunity. With enthusiasm and ​dedication, I’m set on making a difference and helping shape ​the future of music.
